Moving Friends Forward Group was founded in 2005 by Marites Kliem — a Master Medallion REALTOR® and Director at Oakwyn Realty, where she trains and develops agents across the brokerage. That tells you everything about her: even when she's not with clients, she's investing in people.
Together with her husband Tyson — who spent 15 years as a family pastor — they built a top 1% Fraser Valley team from the ground up. Turns out that caring for people in high-emotion situations translates remarkably well to real estate. The team continued to grow and in 2025, they landed #2 in the Fraser Valley for teams with 6–9 REALTORS®.
Not bad for a couple who just wanted to help their friends move.
We built the system other REALTORS® buy. Our 280+ point checklist covers clients from A to Z — legally, logistically, and emotionally. It's so dialed-in that competitors have actually purchased it from us. We took those proceeds and put them toward funding an organization fighting human trafficking in the Philippines — and in 2025, that support helped make a rescue possible. We believe in raising the standard in our industry and if we can do that while supporting charities, even better!
We also make social media content with millions of views because we love to make unique and engaging content to drive attention to our listings.
